FAQ
-
How does it work?We receive leads on a daily basis from end user customers looking for a trusted way to sell their watch. We will share details of these leads with our registered, trade only watch buyers and out forward these offers. Should a mutually agreeable figure be achieved, you will then purchase the watch directly from the end user and we will invoice you a facilitaion fee of 3% + VAT of the watch purchase value, so ensure you build this in to your costs when making an offer.
-
Who can sign up as a buyer? To protect our end user customers, and to ensure successful transactions for all parties, we will only share leads with established watch dealers that we feel will offer the highest levels of customer care and efficiency, We welcome applications from registered companies and sole traders, but expect to see an established trading history, strong verified reviews on recognised platforms (e.g. TrustPilot, Google, Feefo etc). Please be prepared to share information with us to ensure we can offer a safe and trusted experience for all parties involved.
-
When will the service launch? We're expecting a 'soft launch' in August 2024 with a small number of carefully selected watch dealers and expect to see growth and further developments as time progresses.
-
What costs are involved? We will invoice the watch dealer a fee of 3% + VAT of the agreed purchase price of the watch, due within 7 days. As an example, you agree to purchase a watch for £2,000 from the end user, a fee of £60 + VAT (total £72) will be invoiced. The VAT figure is reclaimed as an operational cost for VAT registered businesses. At launch, no fees will be charged to the end user, however, this may change in future.
-
What types of watch will be offered? Our end user portal ranks high in Google rankings for numerous search terms so we receive leads for a wide variety of watch brands and models. Once we get to know our dealers better, we will look to offer more tailored leads to fit in with your business profile,
